About Mount Plushmore

Mount Plushmore is a small business in Toms River, New Jersey. We are an authorized Douglas Cuddle Toys dealer, and we carry close to 500 of their plush animals: dogs and cats by breed, wildlife, farm animals, sea life, dragons, unicorns, costume wings, and a full baby line.

Why plush?

Because plush is a happy thing. Nobody orders a stuffed animal out of obligation. Every box that leaves here is a gift, a comfort object, a new-baby present, or somebody finally buying themselves the one they wanted as a kid. That is a good business to be in.

Why we stock one brand

We could carry five brands and be shallow in all of them. Instead we went deep on one. Douglas has been making plush for decades, and the difference shows up in the details: dense fur instead of scratchy pile, breed markings that fall where they do on a real animal, faces that avoid the generic cartoon look, and construction that survives being loved hard. When a customer emails asking for a specific breed, we usually know whether it exists and whether we can get it.

How we ship

Every order is packed by us and ships from our own warehouse, usually within one business day. Nothing is drop-shipped, which means we have actually handled the piece you are buying. U.S. orders over $50 ship free, and we ship worldwide.
